Chaudhry Altaf Hussain s/o Mohammad Awais was the 19th Governor of Punjab, Pakistan from 1992 till May 1995. He belonged to village Ladhar near Mangla, District Jhelum. He was eldest brother of Iftikhar Hussain Chaudhry who retired as the longest serving Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, post-Partition.

Loved throughout Denmark for his personal integrity and down-to-earth personality, often exemplified in his refusal of moving into the official Prime Minister residence Marienborg, preferring to stay with his wife in their small apartment in a working class area of Copenhagen.

He has received numerous honors and awards ie. Gold Medal in M.Sc. (1957), Civil Award “Pride of Performance” (1995) and Civil Award “Sitara-e-Imtiaz” (1999).

Pakistani television and radio host and announcer. He worked for Radio Pakistan and PTV. Dildar worked with Imran Khan tirelessly fundraising for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre [SKMCHRC] in Lahore. A ward of SKMCHRC was later named Dildar Ward in his honour.

Based in Boonton, New Jersey (USA), Ghulam Hussain Chaudhry was elected a Morris County Committee man and later appointed a commissioner of the Boonton Housing Authority. Ghulam Hussain Chaudhry established the Imadad Foundation Inc. to benefit the Government Girls School in Mungola-Jhelum, Pakistan in 2013.
