Anjuman-e-Behbood-e-Mareezan Denmark Pakistan is honoured and proud to have recieved support from destinguished personalities of which some are unfortunately no longer with us.

Chaudhry Altaf Hussain s/o Mohammad Awais was the 19th Governor of Punjab, Pakistan from 1992 till May 1995. He belonged to village Ladhar near Mangla, District Jhelum. He was eldest brother of Iftikhar Hussain Chaudhry who retired as the longest serving Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, post-Partition.

Anker Jørgensen was a Danish politician who served at various times as Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Denmark. Loved throughout Denmark for his personal integrity and down-to-earth personality, often exemplified in his refusal of moving into the official Prime Minister residence Marienborg, preferring to stay with his wife in their small apartment in a working class area of Copenhagen.

Prof. Dr. Anwar Nasim is a Pakistani molecular biologist and geneticist. He has published more than one hundred scientific papers in prestigious international journals worldwide since 1965. He has received numerous honors and awards ie. Gold Medal in M.Sc. (1957), Civil Award “Pride of Performance” (1995) and Civil Award “Sitara-e-Imtiaz” (1999).

Pakistani television and radio host and announcer. He worked for Radio Pakistan and PTV. Dildar worked with Imran Khan tirelessly fundraising for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre [SKMCHRC] in Lahore. A ward of SKMCHRC was later named Dildar Ward in his honour.

Based in Boonton, New Jersey (USA), Ghulam Hussain Chaudhry was elected a Morris County Committee man and later appointed a commissioner of the Boonton Housing Authority. Ghulam Hussain Chaudhry established the Imadad Foundation Inc. to benefit the Government Girls School in Mungola-Jhelum, Pakistan in 2013.

Mohammed Salahuddin Shaheed, editor of Urdu-language weekly Takbeer, was assassinated in Karachi in 1994. Got fame for his relentless war with pen against repressive Government of PPP & MQM.

Syed Zamir Jafri was a Pakistani poet, writer, social critic, comedian, columnist, broadcaster and telecaster. He was best-known for his work revolved around his Urdu poetry

His native village, Chak Abdul Khaliq, is located near Dina, in district Jhelum.
